Associate – Private Equity recruitment

The position will be based in Chevy Chase, MD.  The fund has approximately $200 million of capital under management and is currently investing its second fund of $103 million raised in 2009. 

The primary responsibilities of the Associate will include analyzing, evaluating and researching LBO transactions, with a primary and heavy emphasis on financial analysis and modeling.  This position will also provide exposure to sourcing of transactions and investor reporting.  The Associate will be given significant responsibility and will be relied upon for a wide range of functions. 

Candidates must possess the following characteristics:

• Minimum 1-3 years of investment banking (MA experience is preferred);

• 2-4 year’s work experience

• Exceptionally strong analytical (especially financial modeling), research and writing skills with a meticulous attention to detail;

• Undergraduate degree (with a strong GPA);

• Ability to work well within a tight-knit team, set priorities, assess sensitivities and exercise judgment in effectively carrying out duties;

• Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethic; and

• Connection to Washington, DC area is a plus but not required
