SUMMARY: Associate Program Managers are experienced employees with knowledge of the program management disciplines that are assigned to assist Program Managers and/or Business Unit Leaders/Directors in managing a specific SNC program or programs. They are responsible for assisting in the successful managing all aspects of cost, schedule, and performance for their assigned programs and for following approved SNC processes. As delegated by the Business Unit Leader/Director, Vice-President, and/or Program Managers, they have the responsibility and authority to take all reasonable actions necessary to achieve and maintain superior contract execution, product delivery, and customer satisfaction. Associate Program Managers assist the Program Managers with follow-on business development for their assigned programs/customers and assist the Business Area Directors and/or Business Area Leader with Business Development activities as required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Associate Program Managers assist one or more Program Managers and/or Business Unit Leaders/Directors in managing programs as required. Associate Program Managers possess some experience and/or educational background in the program management disciplines of Leadership, Personnel Management, Systems Engineering, Software Management, Test and Evaluation Management, Logistics Management, Manufacturing Management, Contract Management, Earned Value Management, Contract Finance Management, Funds Management, and Acquisition Policy. Associate Program Managers are expected to develop significant experience in all the program management disciplines through mentoring, self-study, education, and professional development. Associate Program Managers use their developing experience in and knowledge of the various program management disciplines to assist the Program Manager with the centralized planning, direction, and control required to meet the cost, schedule, and performance goals throughout the life-cycle of their assigned programs. Associate Program Managers assist Program Managers in monitoring, updating, and reporting on their program(s) status in accordance with the SNC CPPM process.

Requirements:

*Bachelor's in an engineering or technical field, with relevant business experience
*Aerospace background a plus.
