The Associate Consultant role is a pivotal step to becoming a full Recruitment Consultant. There is a strong emphasis on on-the-job training and you should actively seek new learning experiences. Working closely with a senior consultant and your manager you will ensure the highest levels of service with client and candidate are maintained during the matching and supply of high calibre candidates to our clients. Consistently meet and exceed all revenue targets and personal development objectives within this sales focused role.
Responsibilities:
- Source new candidates for the business using a variety of methods including headhunting, referrals and job boards and present these high quality candidates in the morning review meeting
- Seek, select and match candidates for appropriate positions, arrange interviews and fully brief candidates
- Manage the recruitment process – from candidate screening through to interview, performance feedback and offer negotiation
- Have a firm knowledge of your candidates
- Take responsibility for keeping in touch with candidates, remaining in close contact with candidates who may be looking to change jobs in the next 12 months.
- Conduct face to face interviews with candidates to complete the first phase of registration
- Attain comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the clients organization, culture and resourcing requirements to create company maps/profiles in database form for headhunting purposes
- Attend client meetings with a senior consultant or your manager
- Conduct specific headhunt projects based on a particular job as instructed
- Actively seek learning opportunities and take responsibility for personal development
You will be capable of self management, commercially aware, creative at problem solving, people focused and ultimately results driven.
