Associate, Retail Inside Sales recruitment
Essential Function/Duties:
• Work in conjunction with the Retail Sales and other internal TCW departments as needed
• Respond to inbound calls from financial advisors who have questions about TCW and MetWest investment strategies
• Make proactive calls regarding TCW and MetWest Mutual Funds as well as TCW's separately managed account strategies
• Provide current portfolio, economic, and value added commentary to financial advisors
• Monitor and research changes in TCW and MetWest portfolios
• Participating fully in product training sessions, meetings and other job training as required
Minimum Qualifications:
• Series 7 and 66
• Self-directed individual with excellent communication skills and high energy preferred
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Good organizational skills and the ability to apply considerable amounts of information
• A strong interest in learning about the financial industry
• Must be internet and computer literate
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Comprehensive training program provided
Desired Qualifications:
• 1 - 3 years sales experience preferred. Financial Services a plus
• SalesForce.com experience is helpful
