Department overview
Sales is responsible for revenue acquisition, contract renewal and account development.
Position summary
Based in London, This person will be responsible for supporting the activities of the regional sales managers – reporting, presentations, contract processing, as well as providing a first line of liaison with our customers market data / procurement departments, providing proactive support when Sales is on territory.
Candidate should be willing to travel abroad for business
Duties accountabilities
- Generation and management of Salesforce reporting for Sales – Opportunity, Lead and Renewals pipelines for new business and existing clients.
- Contracts Management – Own the entire process from receiving contracts, through processing and returning countersigned copies to customers.
- Maintain communication with your accounts by being in regular contact with your key users and build a position of trust, respect and openness with the view to generate new business.
- Preparation of support materials for Sales – Presentations Document packs
Business competencies
Education and experience
- University Degree or equivalent
- Experience in financial services and/or bank training program would be beneficial but is not needed. The successful candidate will be trained by Markit
Skills
- Candidate should have a solid skill set around the use of administrative and support tools – Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, as well as excellent communication skills
Language requirements
- Candidate should be fluent in at least two of the following languages – French, Italian and ideally Spanish.
