To strengthen our Investment Management team, we are looking for an exceptional individual for the following position in New York:
Associate/Senior Associate Investment Management
You will work within Adveq’s US venture capital investment program team and will be responsible for conducting industry studies, fund screening, portfolio analysis, due diligence and the monitoring of primary and secondary investments. You will originate and propose new investment opportunities to the Investment Committee in cooperation with the head of the program and will monitor the assigned fund manager relationships and contribute to market research and fundraising activities.
We are looking for candidates with:
- A degree as well as an MBA or similar postgraduate qualification from a leading international university
- Four years’ work experience in private equity, venture capital, technology or other related fields
- A strategic approach, sound business judgment and an entrepreneurial mindset
- A high level of inquisitiveness, strong discipline and very good attention to detail
- An excellent understanding of financial statements, financial concepts and financial modeling
- An ability to integrate rapidly and to work effectively in a multicultural team of professionals
- An ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic and demanding environment
- Strong project management and execution skills and an ability to meet challenging deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy
