Analyst Renewable Energy Fund recruitment
As a leading alternative energy asset manager our client has a diverse business that invests into renewable energy generation assets, in addition to listed green equities. On the back of recent fundraising success there is now a need to hire an analyst to the renewable energy investment team. As part of the renewable energy investment team you will work on the execution of deals across wind, biomass, solar and waste to energy in the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Reviewing new deal opportunities and supporting senior members of the investment team on the origination of new deals
- Financial modelling on renewable energy investments and supporting the deal execution process
- Portfolio management, liaising with banks post financial close
Suitable candidates will possess:
- Renewable energy deal experience developed in corporate finance, project finance within a leading bank or within industry or a similar fund
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in renewable energy and a good understanding of the economic drivers and changing policies
