Position Description

Role Summary

The Associate will be responsible for conducting research and evaluating trading opportunities, sourcing and assisting in the implementation of transactions, monitoring (via generation of portfolio, risk and performance analytics) the resultant portfolios of transactions based on specific short horizon alpha strategies as assigned by the Senior Portfolio Manager – SHA Credit Rates.  The Short Horizon Alpha group’s focus is on the development and implementation of scalable shorter horizon active management strategies within Public Market Investments.  This role offers an exciting combination of unbeatable learning opportunities, as well as the chance to be part of a dynamic team and an innovative investment organization.

 

Role-Specific Accountabilities

Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Manager – SHA Credit Rates (Public Market Investments), this position is primarily responsible for researching, investigating and assisting in building and implementing a wide range of trading strategies for the active alpha and risk analytics within SHA.  Major areas of responsibilities include:

General accountabilities include working as part of the SHA’s Credit Relative Value group to optimize and implement strategies related to alpha generation (e.g. research into short-horizon and event driven value-added trading strategies).
