Job Description
Our Pre-Sales Group is comprised of Market Specialists, with specialized domain expertise, across each one of the asset classes and/or functional areas our solution provides. They work very closely with the Sales team and play an extremely vital role in the sales cycle. The team is responsible for articulating the value-proposition of the Calypso product, as it relates to their specific market, through client/prospect demo’s and presentations. Among each Market Specialists responsibilities is the management of numerous simultaneous projects that range from business development initiatives to system evaluations to system implementations, to the extension of that knowledge base through the sales and customer support organization. The group will play a major role in helping us to meet our overall financial goals and contributing to our overall growth.
We are seeking a Presales Support Specialist to work within our Pre-Sales team, which is part of the sales organization. The Presales Support Specialist will work on numerous projects to support the local, regional and global presales team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the global Pre-sales Team from a technical perspective
- Provide technical trouble-shooting and support to the Presales team
- Liaise with all functional areas of company to provide support to global PreSales software deployments for prospects
- Configure client data for workshops
- Support and maintain the presales colo environment, across all designated servers globally
- Build and maintain the global demo database
- Assist with RFI/RFP responses
- Primary liaison with Calypso Fast-Track to embellish and build out configurations gathered from PreSales into subsequent releases of Calypso Fast-Track
- Monitor and update PreSales requests to embellish Calypso core via HD, champion for PreSales internal initiatives
Skills Requirements:
- Technical background; Java and RDMBS experience highly desirable
- Degree in Finance or Computer Science desirable
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Ideally familiarity with Calypso software deployment model and processes
- Ideally at least one year in Calypso
