Associate, Trade Syndications
You will work with a base of bank investors in the Asian markets and negotiate and execute legal documentation with new investors, with the support of internal legal, to facilitate deal syndications. In conjunction with the loan distribution (regional global) platforms, you will maintain relationships with investors/ banks at a broader level to ensure maximum penetration. You will develop and maintain strong working relationships with the centralized functions of Sales Trading, Distribution and Transaction Management, as well as maintain close working relationships with the broader Insurance Syndications group. You will also perform the required reporting and maintain records.
Pre-requisites:
- Degree holder
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience
- Understanding of trade related banking is essential
- Possess knowledge of trade finance products (LCs, guarantees etc.)
- Possess knowledge and experience of distributing assets to bank investors
- Possess knowledge and experience of sourcing risk appetite for non trade related deals from the insurance market
- Positive work attitude and able to work well within a team
- Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese would be preferred as this role covers the North Asia market
- Business travel is required
