ASSOCIATES – Corporate Finance/Fund Management (m/f) recruitment
To be based in Chiasso, Switzerland, selected candidates will work on Corporate Finance and Fund Management mandates and will have the following specifications:
Duties and responsibilities
- Assisting with all stages of due diligence including financial modelling, market competitive analysis, and conducting primary secondary research;
- Supporting the team on corporate finance mandates and private equity-type of investments through on-going analysis and key documents preparation;
- Developing rigorous financial models and sensitivity analysis;
- Preparing presentation materials to support corporate finance deals or investment recommendations and synthesizing key research finding to important stakeholders;
- Managing ad-hoc research projects on behalf of the Investment Bank;
- Maintaining updated operating and financial information for deals or investments in portfolio, including capital structure, financial projections, etc;
- Supporting the execution of deals including external coordination with lawyers, accountant, experts, etc.
Skills and specifications
- Degree in science, engineering or business administration with a demonstrated record of academic achievement;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in top-tier consulting, investment banking, corporate business development or private equity/venture capital;
- Strong understanding of financial statements and ability to perform complex financial modelling in Excel;
- Excellent capacity and experience to translate research findings into compelling PowerPoint presentations;
- Fluency in English required, Portuguese or/and Italian will be a plus;
- Extensive travelling in emerging markets required.
