An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client within the Technology team of a Top 10 investment banking boutique. With a record amount of deal flow in a hugely active sector, they are offering talented Associates looking for a step up in responsibility and exposure the chance to join their successful franchise.
They have an incredibly strong, stable brand with renowned leadership where you will gain broad product and cross-sector exposure in a highly international environment working alongside high calibre senior investment bankers on the highest profile, mid-cap transactions. They have had significant successes on both buy and sell-side MA opportunities through their extensive relationships with the major Corporates and globally recognised Financial Sponsors which form the backbone of the European economy.
The successful candidate will join the London based Technology Corporate Finance team which has performed extremely well over the last 18 months completing multiple headline making transactions and attracting outstanding talent to build on the prestigious deals they've been doing in the region.
The ideal candidate must be academically bright and have between 4-6 years of strong corporate finance experience from a Big 4 firm, Bulge Bracket investment bank or a reputable advisory boutique where you will have gained solid live deal experience and have the full complement of technical competencies (financial analysis and modeling: LBO, DCF, Comparables etc.) as well as significant client exposure and deal lead experience. Prior experience in TMT is a pre-requisite. Past Technology experience is an advantageous.
This individual will be involved in developing and executing: buy and sell-side opportunities for Corporates and Financial Sponsors, and value-enhancing transactions relating to existing portfolio investments; from assisting clients in making investment judgments and decisions, advising on valuation, assessment of senior management, tactical bidding, and competitor and industry trends.
