Role Overview: The Assurance Analyst works within the Enterprise Risk and Compliance Group, within the Assurance team. The primary goal of the Assurance team is to design and implement an assurance framework that assesses whether the AOFM’s control framework addresses its key risks (with reference to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework), and that the controls are functioning as intended. This includes examining whether the operations, processes, and documentation that support AOFM functions are consistent with the financial management framework (legislative and policy) and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications: Degree qualification in evaluation, auditing, finance, commerce, economics or a related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution.
Experience:Experience in assurance work is expected, along with skills in developing or applying financial and compliance frameworks.Experience with Australian capital markets or investment techniques of relevance to sovereign debt management would be well regarded.
