Assurance Risk Manager

Hays are working in partnership with a well known and respected business who have fabulous offices based in the heart of Birmingham City Centre.

Reporting to the COO with your own direct line management for the performance management team, you will be a productive member of the leadership team contributing to growth and business goals.

The job will involve managing and organising operations of your team where you will support a number of areas of the business. You will report on internal controls matters and to ensure they are completed in an accurate and timely manner, lead and undertake internal audits across the team to establish process improvements to processes and controls.
You will be liaising directly with the Internal and external audit teams to ensure that all audits are progressed on time with a high element in the identification on reporting of risk, including the development of policies and reporting frameworks.

The chose individual will need to be a qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with experience in Audit and Risk management who has the experience in managing a team.
