Personal Tax Semi Senior / Senior for the Private Client Tax Services Team of this well-established accountancy practice in Salisbury

The Salisbury office of this Top 10 Firm of accountants has grown rapidly in recent years and now has 11 directors and over 70 staff providing a unique blend of business and personal financial services including pensions and financial planning and advice on personal tax and trusts to a wide variety of sectors. They provide a range of services: to private clients, agricultural and landed estates, the bloodstock and equine sector, medium sized companies typically owner managed or family owned business, research development tax relief, entrepreneurs services, corporate recovery including turnaround advice for businesses with cash flow difficulties.

Key responsibilities of the role will be to provide tax compliance services to clients and deal with administrative matters and assist with provision of all services to clients, and to undertake some review work of trainees.

Main duties will include completion of Tax returns/computations, prioritise workload, to produce accurate and clear working papers and undertake accurate input on to Digita, Excel and other software as appropriate. You will also be responsible for ensuring that work produced by juniors is technically correct , that tax manual procedures are complied with, all tax payments made promptly and correctly and that all review forms are properly completed.

The successful candidate is likely to be professionally qualified CTA or ATT (or willing to complete these studies) with significant experience in private and/or corporate tax. They will need to demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and have a strong sense of client service, be enthusiastic and willing to develop and be a good team player.
