Description As our Athlete Exploration Manager you act as the primary point of intersection between the Nike Sports Research Lab (NSRL) and the Category Connection Team. You will collaborate and agree on NSRL Category-related research priorities and project definitions. You will lead effort to directly apply NSRL results to creation of Category Innovation products. You orchestrate and oversee a limited portfolio of athlete performance insights, research, and testing for key Categories. You will work regularly and directly with amateur and professional athletes. In addition, you will manage and collaborate with sport science consultants and Sports Marketing assets. You will create and maintain a prioritized multi-year Athlete Exploration Innovation Agenda for each key Category, documenting and aligning a strategic portfolio of Innovation activities with Category business visions. You will act as the Innovation performance athlete expert in interactions with Category teams. You will explain and authenticate athlete performance insights and benefits of Innovation product concepts. You will have the opportunity to participate in the broader Innovation Community as an expert on your field, sharing professional capabilities and experience, raising the profile and frequency of direct athlete interaction as a source of inspiration and validation.
