Audit and Assurance Coordinator
Global, recognized leader in Energy industry seeks experienced Quality Management Systems (QMS) Auditor and Assurance Coordinator.
This position is initially located in Houston, Texas with eventual re-location to Perth, Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform audits of prime contractor, vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors associated with a major LNG Greenfield project
- Comfortable with performing second and third party audits
- Verify contractor compliance with contractual and procedural terms and conditions
- Able to work as a key member of an audit team that is responsible for the verification and validation of quality assurance and conformance compliance of work processes and systems
- Comfortable in performing audits in multiple functional areas, such as:
- Engineering
- Procurement/Purchasing
- Document Control
- Logistics/Supply Chain
- Contract Administration
- Health, safety, environmental
- Able to comprehend standards and regulations such as; ISO, API, AS/NZS, and company internal guidelines and contractual agreements
- Prepares audit criteria checklists, conducts audits with auditee, prepare audit closeout reports, captures corrective and non-compliance findings
- Proven ability to conduct audits, follow-up audits, reviews, surveillance, and audit preparation
Required Experience:
- Degree in engineering, business, or science discipline
- Prior experience as a quality engineer in the area of quality management
- Previous experience 4 to 10 years
- Knowledge of relative standards such as API Q1, ISO and AS/NZS 9001:2008, ISO/TS 29001, ISO 19011, AS/NZS 19011:2003
- Preferred candidates will hold current certification such as: RAB QSA, CMQ/OE, CQA
- Preferred candidates will have experience performing audits in overseas and multi-cultural environments
