Audit Lead
Hays is currently recruiting for an Audit Lead for one of the world's leading global asset management firms.
This role, based in central London, will allow the successful candidate to make a major contribution to the continued success of the organisation by establishing their risk-based audit plan.
The Audit Lead will be working closely with the audit project specialists in a highly visible decision-making position to devise an appropriate testing plan and will be leading a team of up to 5 people in the audit process. The incumbent should expect to travel for approximately 30% of their time to provide training, coaching and auditing expertise to auditors during the audit engagement.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess extensive knowledge of audit procedures and standards obtained through related work experience. In addition, market knowledge of asset management and fund management will enable you to stand apart from your peers.
You will be recently ACA or ACCA qualified and possess strong analytical, written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills. This is an evolving position with fantastic long-term promotion potential within the internal audit team or in other areas of the business.
