Audit Manager - Operations Technical Writer

Job Summary
The Audit Operations Technical Writing Manager works collaboratively within Audit Operations as well with all audit teams to develop written reports for business lines as well as other key stakeholders. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Work with business partners to develop and establish design and
content standards for report findings.
- Develop standard processes and procedures to ensure the quality of
reporting.
- Review all audit drafts to validate the documentation and ensure the
clarity, completeness, technical accuracy, and quality of the
information.
- Work collaboratively with auditors and other partners to secure the
required information to create or edit documentation.
- Provide instruction to team members in the preparation of reports that
are consistent in format and message.
- Provide training, coaching and constructive feedback as required for
employee development.
- Assist in the preparation of Audit Committee, pipeline, dashboard and
KPI reporting.
- Successfully implement other project tasks and key deliverables under
the direction of the Audit Group Leader.

The Technical Writing Manager reports to the Audit Group Manager responsible within the Professional Practices and Audit Operations team.

Key Qualifications:
- 4 Year Degree or equivalent experience
- 7 years of related Audit experience required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including strong audit
writing skills
- In-depth knowledge of audit principles and practices
- Previous management and leadership experience
- Strong coaching and counseling skills
- Self starter who takes initiative to identify areas of improvement
- Ability to delegate work to others
- Strong decision-making and follow through ability
- PC skills MS Office Suite
- Works well independently and with others
- Strong Analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and administrative
responsibilities while meeting deadlines
- Project management and team working experience
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to resolve conflicts
- Travel 25 or more
