Audit Manager

BDO LLP are looking to expand their Real Estate audit and assurance team, by taking on an experienced Audit Manager to continue the high level of growth that the team has been experiencing. The team provides full audit and assurance services for a range of real estate clients, including FTSE250 listed clients. The role as manager will involve owning and being responsible for a portfolio of your own clients, and managing the team of junior staff that is assigned to each client assignment. There will also be the opportunity to be involved in some ad hoc advisory projects involving Real Estate clients.

Some of the responsibilities of being a Manager are:
· Responsible for the financial management of a portfolio of clients.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients at senior levels, being a principal point of contact throughout the year. Develop a strong commercial understanding of the clients businesses.
· Complete assignments within agreed budgets and timescales and identify opportunities for additional billings.
· Ensure assignments are staffed with the appropriate mix of knowledge and skills required.
· Ensure that the firm’s risk management and quality control procedures are adhered to at all times.
· Identify and recognise business and sales opportunities with new and existing clients and inform the Partner and client as appropriate
