Position Description
Audit Manager
Big 4 Accounting Firm needs experienced Audit Manager to add to their growing Phoenix practice.
Responsibilities:
- Audits of financial statements, including reviews of quarterly financial information.
- Audits of internal control over financial reporting including Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404
- Risk management: assessing the risk of material misstatement of the financials in order to design effective audit procedures.
- Oversee multiple client engagements in technology, construction, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, financial services, semiconductor, and events planning industries as required.
- Supervision of staff and management of services to clients, including preparation of the audit strategy and business plans, setting and monitoring budgets, scheduling audits, selecting staff and assigning workloads, and financial reporting.
- Draft and assist in the delivery of proposals for engagements.
Requirements:
- CPA
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, advanced degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of public accounting or equivalent experience
- Audit experience with a public accounting firm preferred.
