Audit Senior
A leading accountancy firm based in Central London has a job opening for an ambitious newly qualified accountant to join their exciting financial services team.
Due to continued growth, a confident and ambitious newly qualified auditor is required to work with a range of financial services clients. Your main focus will be on this sector but from time to time may get the opportunity to work on some more general corporate clients. The role will involve being the main point of contact for clients, planning, leading and finalising audits. You will be expected to supervise juniors and report to managers or directly to partners. The role is mainly audit, but will require to do some preparation of financial statements and at times some tax computations.
The ideal candidate will be ACA qualified with good experience in audit, ideally from a mid tier firm or larger. Experience of UK GAAP is essential with IFRS highly desirable. Excellent communications skills both written and verbal are a must as you will be representing the firm to clients and also heavily involved in report writing. Experience from the banking sector would be ideal but this firm will consider candidates that would like to move into this sector. You must have an excellent academic record with at least a 2:1 from a recognised University and at least three A levels.
