Audit Specialist recruitment
Duties:
Assist EMEA Relationship Lead in day-to-day support of the Internal Audit EMEA Region. This team is a part of Audit Practices Operations whose role is the following:
• Providing clear practice guidance and advice
• Accurately and effectively measuring and communicating Internal Audit’s results internally and externally
• Serving as a catalyst for continued improvement, monitoring compliance with methodology
• Continuing our clients’ strong relationships with Internal Audit management and staff, regulators and peer organizations
Key Responsibilities:
- Partners with Audit Directors, audit teams and control teams outside of Internal Audit to develop the annual audit plan.
- Designs, produces and presents regular and ad-hoc management reports/MIS for the Regional Chief Auditor, Internal Audit and Business Executive Management and Regulators.
- Evaluates audit team performance to identify areas of weakness/needed improvement; provide feedback to Audit Directors and teams.
- Provides audit team support in audit methodology and processes.
- Leads efforts with an impact across Internal Audit to implement processes with supporting documentation/training and change controls/success metrics.
- Manages periodic audit data quality processes.
- Maintains COB systems, reviews Business Recovery Plans and meets key milestones to ensure infrastructure is in place for the smooth running of Internal Audit EMEA in the event of an emergency.
Knowledge/Experience:
• Experience of working in a busy and varied office. Highly motivated individual used to working with all levels of management.
• Understanding of the audit role would be advantageous.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Access, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Knowledge of CoB Trac system would be beneficial.
