Audit Supervisor - Risk Team

Job Summary
The Risk Management Audit Team is responsible for the audit function and related activities focused primarily on TD Bank's Risk Management division. Key areas of focus include but are not limited to:

- Operational Risk Management
- Enterprise Risk Management
- Allowance for Loan and Lease Loss
- Commercial Workout
- Credit Risk Management including Credit Policy
- Retail Risk Management
- Internal Risk Rating Systems

The Supervisor is responsible for providing audit expertise and contributing to the planning, risk assessment and/or execution of U.S. based audits across different business units within TD Bank and Risk Management. The Supervisor will:

*Lead or participate in the planning and execution of audits ensuring compliance with the Bank's audit methodology. The Supervisor will assist the Audit Manager to ensure proper testing of internal and external controls, and when acting as lead, manage the ongoing communication and reporting processes with the client and senior management.
*Ensures that their own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines as set forth by the various law makers and regulatory agencies.
*Ensure that all audits and findings follow-up work is completed in a professional manner and within established time lines.
*Makes recommendations for correcting unsatisfactory conditions, improving operations and reducing costs. Review audit findings with Management and report findings to the Chief Auditor and other Bank personnel, as appropriate. Track and manage audit deficiencies, and validate business plans to ensure timely closure of open findings.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
4-year degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required
4-7 years related Audit or Risk Management experience required
Working knowledge of credit products and/or risk management principles
In-depth knowledge of audit principles, practices, and governing regulations
Certification preferred
Computer literacy including proficiency in common desktop applications
Strong communication skills
Ability to execute audits and/or oversee and direct others
Travel - approximately 25
