Auditors for the European Union recruitment

Now, more than ever, it is crucial that these policies and projects are as effective as possible. Across the EU Institutions, we have demanding requirements in financial, performance and internal auditing, making this a truly challenging place to build your career.

Potentially involved in both internal and external audits, you will:

• Examine financial management processes

• Conduct inspections• Improve control systems

• Advise on methodologies• Closely support senior decision-makers

• Train non-specialist personnel

• Supervise and mentor colleagues

To join us at entry level (Grade AD 5), you will need a degree in a numerical discipline (or be graduating this year). Alternatively, if you have several years’ relevant experience, you can join us at a more senior level (Grade AD 7).

Whichever route suits you best, you will have a good command of at least two European languages (your native language plus English, French or German).

After you have applied online, we will invite you to undertake an assessment involving multiple choice tests in verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning and situational judgment.

Prove you have what it takes and we’ll arrange for you to attend an assessment centre in Brussels where we can get to know you and gauge your flair for key skills such as analysis and problem-solving, communication, prioritising, working with others and leadership.

These capabilities will be tested through case studies, group exercises, oral presentations and structured interviews, making for a stimulating and stretching process.

To apply, please visit www.eu-careers-online.eu/aud

Registration closes on 17th April 2012 at 12.00 (midday) Brussels Time (CEST).
