The Boomerang group in Cambridge, MA has developed a suite of successful, world-class sniper detection products including Situational Awareness mapping tools for military and other government use. The Software Development team is currently in need of a mid-level software test automation engineer who will successfully contribute to our group's projects in various capacities.

The position will involve software technologies associated with automated testing of graphical and other user interfaces, network protocols, algorithm / functional operation, database interaction. Systems include both embedded software products and PC based products.

Responsibilities will include:
* Implementing Java-based automated test software for both UI and backend product features
* Helping to write comprehensive test automation plans and test cases for new features and products.
* Helping to prepare for and execute in-field testing of software products as well as data-collection and analysis duties.

Qualifications and Experience:

* 2-5 year's software development experience ( will consider recent college grads with significant working experience )
* Bachelor degree in Computer Science
* Proficiency in Java and SQL
* Experience with tools for capturing and tracking features, defects, and change requests.
* Individual must be highly motivated and have the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience using automated test frameworks and writing automated test cases highly desired

**REQUIRED**
Ability willingness to obtain a security clearance for which the DoD requires US citizenship.
