AVP Asian Economist – Singapore – Tier 1 investment bank recruitment
You will have primary responsibility for Asia ex Japan region reporting directly to the Chief Economist.
In order to apply for the position you must:-
- Have at least 5 years experience as an economist covering Asia ex Japan
- Have excellent macroeconomic skills.
- Have essential managerial experience as well as strong client facing skills
- Have an MSC/PHD in Economics from a leading school.
You will be responsible for providing economic commentary for Asia Ex Japan therefore individual must have a thorough understand of the relevant economies and be extremely familiar with policy makers. You will also be responsible for leading the research team therefore it will be essential for you to have previous experience in management. Excellent written and oral skills are also a must as you will be given the opportunity to be involved in the marketing for clients and will be making regular internal presentations.
