What are the main accountabilities of this role?
Provision of Business Analysis to support the delivery of project/programmes
- Assess the feasibility of proposed changes and consequential business impact through application of analysis techniques, for example (but not exclusively) operational modelling, simulation, risk identification.
- Develop core analysis artefacts, for example (but not exclusively) business objectives, requirements definitions, operational designs, benefits realisation plans
- Ensure the delivery and presentation of business analysis is to appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the project plan.
- Undertake data analysis and scenario modelling.
- Provide analytical support to Project Management.
- Report progress to Senior Analyst, Project Manager and other stakeholders.
- Provision of Change Management insight, advice and guidance to support the delivery of project/programme
- Support business change resources in defining and planning the change management aspects of the project and producing supporting plans.
- Ensure that the business is ready, able and willing to accept the change to be delivered by the project
- Advise, guide and support all project/workstream communications, training and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure all change management deliverables, including communications and stakeholder engagements, from the workstream/project are to appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the project plan.
- Develop, maintain and manage the project/programme communications and stakeholder strategies and plans.
- Undertake specific change management activities as required by project/programme management.
- Support management of project stakeholders.
Workstream / Project Delivery
- Operate in accordance with change management methods
- Deliver the project or workstream in accordance with project / programme objectives.
- Ensure quality of delivery and integrity of the project.
- Ensure documentary project outputs are delivered to time, quality and budget.
- Ensure business deliverables (new products, services, capability) are to appropriate levels of quality, are on time and within budget and in accordance with the Project Plan
- Ensure new products, services and business capability are accepted by the commissioning business
- Plan and monitor the project / workstream progress, resolve issues and initiate corrective action as appropriate, report project progress at regular intervals to business and project stakeholders
- Manage the project / workstream budget, forecasting and monitoring expenditure and costs
- Ensure the project / workstream is resourced to meet its objective(s).
- Manage dependencies, interfaces, risks and issues.
Organisational Development
- Mentor and coach colleagues and clients by sharing experience.
- Provide objective feedback and input to Performance Management Reviews and Annual Reviews of all direct project reports, whether these are assigned from the Business Change Resource Pool, or from the business line or other functions
- Identify, propose and champion new and improved Change Management methods, tools and techniques to be adopted by the UK Banking Change Management community
Personal Professional Development
- Maintain and develop knowledge and skill in chosen technical disciplines
- Maintain and develop domain knowledge associated with the nature of the business
- Achieve the required level of accreditation in the Group's mandated Change Methods and Tools

What will you need?
- Analysis tools and techniques
- Skilled in the use of data analysis and presentation software tools
- Understand and comply with the requirements of mandated Business Change Methods, Standards and Tools in particular, Compass, Navigator.
Essential
- Requirements engineering

- Process analysis, mapping and design
- A detailed understanding of deliverables and processes required to enable delivery of IT solutions
- Business communication
- Proven Business Analysis skills
- Knowledge of payments (customer, bank to bank, N category)- schemes and regulation
Preferred
- PMI, Prince 2, MSP
- Global Pay Plus (GPP) knowledge
- Knowledge of functions associated to payment processing e.g., funds checking, FX, accounting etc.
