AVP – Canadian Equity/Product Specialist recruitment
The equities business is growing rapidly. To deliver these growth plans across our client base, the equity support teams are implementing and developing a cash equity middle office , and will consist of talented individuals with knowledge of a broad spectrum of equity and equity-linked products.

- Forging strong relationships with partners in IT The overall Equity Operations team includes- Middle offices, Trade Support, Equity Settlements, Equity Cash and Client Service, and OTC Documentation
Main Function
This role is to be the lead Middle Office support for the Canadian Equity business. This role is located in New York.
- Testing and implementing order management systems
- Ensuring the exchanges interface with the back office system
- Scoping the controls and risk managing the service with key stakeholders
- Excelling in client service
- Ensuring the validity of our reporting requirements to the relevant authorities
- Assisting firm groups in any local primary or secondary issuance
Main Duties
- Ensuring that exchange trades are reconciled
- Liaising with the Front Office and Brokers to ensure local client flow is settled promptly
- Liaising with Global Support Teams for the remediation and settlement of intercompany flow
- Assisting our global Sales Support Team with any market related information
- Proactively look for process and STP enhancements
