Reporting to Head Relationship Support
Responsibilities:
- Work with Regulatory Compliance Unit and Quality Assurance to ensure that the department’s processes meet internal and regulatory compliance requirements
- Conduct briefing to staff where necessary on changes in regulatory controls that are relevant to the FI Portfolio
- Monitor the schedule for Customer Due Diligence checks and ensure these are conducted on time
- Undertake review of transactions (including establishment or renewal of RMA) with RMs to see if these are within the established CDD/KYC profile
- Manage the department’s Regulatory Requirement Self-Assessment and Risk Control Self-Assessment checks; conduct sample checks on these self-assessments
- Monitor and ensure that the department staff complete the required compulsory courses
- Responsible for department’s Business Continuity Management including developing BCP Plans; Pandemic Plans; review of Business Impact Analysis et
- Co-ordinate and manage Data Quality Checks
- Co-ordinate and manage compliance and operations audits – includes internal and MAS related audits. Track and ensure timely resolution of issues raised
- Review and update the FI Procedure Manual
- Mentor 2 junior members
- Any other compliance related matters or ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in compliance preferred
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills
- A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
