Role: Control Room Specialist
Bank: Tier 1 Investment Bank
Salary: Upto £70,000
Location: City of London
A tier 1 Investment Bank based in the City is looking for a Control Room specialist. It is a large team that can give support, guidance and exposure to international work. The role can also give the opportunity to move internally into advisory after sufficient experience is gained.
Role:
Maintaining the firm's Watch List and Research and Trading Restricted Lists
Imposing restrictions on the firm's Research and/or Trading activities in connection with the firm's advisory, principal investment and other activities.
Manage wall crossings through the Firm's wall crossing procedures andprovide advice on Information barriers
Review both Equity and Credit Research for potential issues with applicable laws and firm policies regarding the publication and dissemination of Research in issuers on the Watch and Restricted Lists
Requirements:
Candidates must have prior Control Room experience and a good understanding of regulation. Candidates must also have a strong academic background and a passion for compliance.
