AVP Equity Product Control recruitment
This is an excellent opportunity for an established product controller with strong Equities experience to join the Equities Product Control Team taking on responsibility for the reporting of trader daily PL and risk, production of key metrics, monthly adjustments to the general ledger, system reconciliations and onboarding of new products and systems for the Equities Business. The successful candidate will assist in the development and enhancement of the controls and processes performed within the reporting group.
The successful candidate will need to build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including, Front Office, Market Risk, Finance and Technology.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- The product control candidate will work within a team that is responsible for the reporting of trader daily PL and risk, PL and risk substantiation, production of key metrics, monthly adjustments to the general ledger, system reconciliations and onboarding of new products and systems for the Equities Business.
- The product controller will assume primary responsibility for the production of the risk and PL reporting for one of the desks supported within the EMEA region, but will also be expected to be able to cover other desks within the team. They will also work with their peers within the team to ensure that the team reporting performance requirements are met.
- The successful candidate will assist in the development and enhancement of the controls and processes performed within the reporting group.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Equities Product Controller to develop their career. Good knowledge of the financial services industry and an in-depth understanding of Equity Investment Banking Products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to work towards tight deadlines and proven analytical skills combined with the ability to liaise with Senior Management.
