AVP – Equity Research (Real estate / Financials) recruitment
Working in a lean team, this is an exciting role where the incumbant will assist the Senior Investment Strategist to provide input into the tactical asset allocation process for global equity markets, and help maintain equity watchlists for the Asian markets.
Roles Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain equity conviction lists and model portfolios and ensure an adequate tracking of their performance through regular reports.
- Help develop a consistent methodology for the coverage of global equity markets with a view to making recommendations to the Investment Committee on whether to overweight, underweight or hold a neutral stance within an asset allocation stance, based on top down and bottom up analysis.
- Act as the equity advisor to internal clients, media and investment committee
Qualifications Skillsets
We are seeking someone with 3-5 years experience as an equity analyst or strategist on either the buy or sell side, preferably focusing on the financials or property sectors within Asia.
The individual should be able to independently develop and maintain equity watchlists and model portfolios. You will possess a strong writing and communication skills with a degree in finance, economics.
MBA and CFA accrediation will be a huge advantage. Ability to speak Mandarin will be highly advantageous.
