AVP Finance Change – Investment Banking recruitment
****Top Tier Investment Bank looking for a Senior Business Analyst in their Finance Change team. Reporting into Singapore this will be a role supporting the finance systems and processes across APAC******
The programmes can be Global, Regional or local in nature. The team has a flexible structure allowing people to move around from project to project and to focus on different systems / products. Initially this will be a 12 month contract role but there is the potential to extend or be made permanent at the end of the term
The Finance Change team cover both regional and global Finance strategic initiatives as well as covering Finance interests on front-to-back projects which are driven by Front Office.
The immediate role is to support execution of Finance tasks related to transfer of business assets to a third party bank as part of strategic initiatives. On a longer term, the focus would be on covering projects driven by individual Front Office businesses to implement Finance system to fulfil Finance reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepares recurring financial reports to reflect the state of the assets in scope for the transfer.
- Engage key stakeholders from each function to obtain relevant data, perform financial analysis and consolidate to produce the financial reports
- Define Finance requirements to execute the assets transfer
- Formulate detailed task plan to be used as reference during the execution of the asset transfer
- Engage Finance team to ensure the relevant books and records after each asset transfer are correct
- Work with Finance teams to understand requirements, constraints and deliverables on projects and produce appropriate project documentation including Business
Expereinces:
- 5-7 Years experience working in Investment banking
- Good product knowledge, including derivatives, and detailed understanding of how the products are accounted for. Special focus to be given to Equities
- Experience with new system implementation / business process re-engineering
- Experience from working in a Finance line and / or a Finance project role within an investment bank.
