Interim APAC Business Manager – Emerging Markets recruitment
A market leading Investment Bank seeks to appoint an experienced banking professional to the post of Interim APAC Business Manager – Emerging Markets. Reporting into the APAC COO – FX/EM and working directly with the APAC EM Trading heads, the role will entail a broad range of accountabilities. These will include strategy development, the design and implementation of regional transformation initiatives, budgeting/cost allocation, IT deployment, headcount planning as well as the management of the region’s regulatory affairs. The successful applicant will come from a bulge bracket Investment Bank and have a strong understanding of Rates, FX or Credit products. Experience of working in Asia is essential, as is an advanced understanding of local Regulatory and Compliance procedures. Ideally the successful candidate will have previously held a COO/Business Manager role within the region. However, individuals from CFO backgrounds will also be considered, provided they have experience of facing off directly to trading desks. The contract is likely to last in excess of a year and offers the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the strategic goals of one of Asia’s most prominent investment banks.
