AVP – Financial Reporting / Regulatory Reporting :: Top Tier Investment Bank recruitment
****Top Tier Investment Bank looking for two Senior Analyst / AVP’s to join their Financial Reporting Regulatory Control functions – expending group with excellent career development opportunities****
The team is responsible for all financial and regulatory reporting across the Singapore branch and SEA subsidiaries. The group is also engaged with project work across system improvement initiatives and strategic implementations.
Regulatory Reporting:
- Manage deliverables / review submissions pertaining to MAS regulatory reporting
- Work closely with the shared services team to deliver timely accurate reports
- Perform logical checks on information reported and provide in depth variance analysis
- Handle and effectively close queries raised by the regulator and senior management
- Lead and close improvement initiatives with motive to enhance data quality and improve operational efficiency
- Review new business propositions in context of compliance with regulatory requirements, internal metrics and capability to meet reporting requirements
- Work closely with cross functional teams and deliver effectively in system implementation and data quality improvement projects
Financial Reporting:
- Preparation and review of financial reporting to the group and preparation of local annual financial statements as per IFRS and group accounting policies
- Perform financial review analysis
- Work closely with Financial Control team in maintaining the integrity of PSGL balances.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors on any finance related issues.
- Review product program / country addendum to ensure statutory reporting and accounting requirements are catered for.
- Provide support in ad-hoc process reengineering projects, integration projects and other ad-hoc projects.
Experience:
- Strong accounting skills (qualified accountant preferable)
- At least 5 years experience in Investment Banking finance function across either financial and regulatory reporting or a combination of both
- Team management experience desirable
