AVP, Japanese Speaking Operations Team Lead , Asset Management recruitment
Prestigious Global Investment Bank with a growing Investment Management division in Singapore is looking to hire an experienced Japanese speaking executive to lead a team within their Operations division. This team takes care of accounting, cash management, client reporting and control of the portfolio, covering a wide range of products and clients in Japan.
RESPONSIBILIITES
- Assist the Manager to manage day to day deliverables of the team. This will include carrying out checks on tasks performed by junior team members, acting as their first point of escalation and assisting them to resolve complex issues
- Take ownership of complex and sensitive accounts and ensure all respective tasks are performed correctly
- Document process flows and create procedure manuals for the functions performed
- Contribute to the improvement of processes, striving towards reducing risks, increasing controls and customer satisfaction
- Liaise extensively with Custodians, Fund Administrators, Transfer Agents and Trading Desks to resolve breaks and address queries
- Perform ad hoc analysis for fund managers and clients
- There will opportunities to be involved in local and global projects.
EXPERIENCE
- University degree
- At least 5 years experience in Asset Management or Investment Banking operations
- An accountancy qualification would be advantageous
- Previous people management or supervisory experience
- Excellent communication skills, including FLUENT Japanese and English
- Adaptable as a team player as well as a team leader.
