The Company
Our client, a leading Transfer Agency provider, is currently seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) to their team. The firm is one of the largest market leader, providing investment management products and services to institutional investors.
The Role
- Managing and motivating a team to ensure all clients receive a best in class service from a Transfer Agency perspective.
- Managed daily unit trust operational matters and resolved ad-hoc issues.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve current processes to meet the changing requirements of clients and to promote efficiency.
- Closely monitor the team's capacity and performance, providing people responsibilities and staff development.
- Continuously review current process to ensure proper control of risk management is in place.
Your Profile
To be successful you will have:
- A degree holder in finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Transfer Agency/ Unit Trust Operation in financial services industry.
- Strong prioritisation skills and be able to handle tight deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, and is committed to deliver quality client service.
- Experience in managing a team and demonstrated experience in people management and talent development.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Cantonese (Fluency in Mandarin will be an advantage).
