AVP/Manager – FX/Treasury Product Control recruitment
Our client is a leading Tier 1 Investment Bank, who are experiencing continued growth across their Asia Pac business.
As a result of an internal promotion, a great opportunity has arisen for an experienced financial/product controller, to come in and cover the FX and Treasury businesses.
This is truly a fantastic opportunity to gain autonomy and dictate the way your businesses are controlled. In this all-encompassing role you will gain a great breadth of experience across both financial and management accounting, whilst acting as key contact for finance with middle office, on all Treasury and FX related dealings.
Responsibilities include:
- Take ownership for PL Balance Sheet for businesses
- Responsible for month end close
- Ensure controls are in place around accuracy and completeness of underlying data
- Process improvements – continually improving and questioning the processes around the outputs in your business lines, as well as in the broader team
- FX exposures management from both Management and Financial accounting perspectives.
- Review performance of the business lines, and provide front office and senior management with insight and analysis around business performance
The successful candidate with be CA qualified, and have at least 5-7 years experience within a Control environment. Experience across a Treasury or FX business line an added bonus. You will be a proven performer, with a track record of achievement and success. This is a crucial appointment, providing you with the opportunity to join a regional market leader.
