AVP/VP
Our client is a leading regional bank with strong focus on its people as well as creating value for its customers and shareholders. Due to its expansion plan in Asia, our client is looking for an experienced FI credit analyst to join the highly successful team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the credit approval process for new counterparty / service providers, and monitoring their creditworthiness on an ongoing basis.
- Providing written analyses, reviews and presentations on counterparty credit exposures to management.
- Actively participating in discussions to identify risks and make recommendations on policies, guidelines and limits to ensure sound credit risk management of counterparties / service providers
- Working with the broader team to ensure ongoing monitoring and reporting of industry risks and trends, and escalating as appropriate.
To do well in this role, one must have strong credit analysis skills and a good understanding of both financial instruments and credit risk management practices. This is most likely to have been honed through a minimum of 5 years' experience in credit risk management of bank counterparties.
