AVP/VP Fixed Income Product Control recruitment
Due to a huge increase in profitability and subsequent heavier workload, the current VP within the team is to be freed up to concentrate on high profile Projects that are key to the department. Therefore, it is vital that a Product Controller is hired to focus on the daily function and to oversee 2-3 individuals that are focusing on Daily PL. It is for that reason that we need a current AVP to step up in to the position, or a Junior VP that is looking to expand his/her product/business exposure and growth potential.
The candidate will be working on a book for the Govt Bond desk and derivatives trading desk and will therefore have a focus on Inflation Bonds, Cash Bonds and REPOS, meaning that it is imperative that the candidate comes from such a background. In what is the most senior role within the daily function, the candidate will be the key interface with a Desk that the team work very closely to. The candidate should also to expect to be heavily involved in Risk Migrations and Product Enhancement/New Product Approvals.
