AVP/VP level – Equities Quantitative Researcher
JOB DESCRIPTION-
A world leading US Investment bank is seeking a mid level, 3 to 6 years, Quantitative Execution Researcher to join their well established cross asset trading department. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting extensive market microstructure research and transaction cost analysis, as well as relating this research back to market.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid level candidate to join a world leading team on the execution side where the successful candidate will have exceptional career progression opportunities.
On a daily basis you will develop execution algorithms for use by internal trading desks and external Electronic Trading clients. Specific responsibilities will include;
- Extensive market microstructure research
- Generating ideas and conducting research to improve our execution logic and platforms
- Through Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA)
- Develop a deep understanding of execution strategies and transaction cost analysis
- Close interaction with the market
- Improve the logic of the groups execution
Essential Attributes;
- Experience as a quantitative trader or a front-office quant on a trading desk is highly desirable
- Proven desire for career growth
- Excellent education from a quantitative discipline
