AVP/VP : Regional PEP Desk Coordinator recruitment
ROLE SUMMARY:
I) Management and Oversight
- Assist the Regional Head AML Compliance and Heads of IB/AM/PB AP AML Compliance with managing day-to-day and project tasks, ensuring Bank AML compliance efforts in the region meet Bank policies, Regional minimum standards and local laws and regulations.
(II) Policy and Procedures Review
- Review and advise on CS AML policy and procedures on Client ID/ Enhanced Due Diligence/ PEP in order to ensure CS maintains appropriate policy standards and processes in light of new technologies, best practices and changing regulatory requirements
- Coordinate the consultation of draft global policies across locations in the region and consolidate the feedback to Global team for consideration
- Conduct gap analysis to identify any discrepancies with the Global policies
(III) Regional PEP desk coordinator
- Act as Head of Regional PEP desk
- Participate in monthly Global PEP call
- Act as a coordinator/Iiaison between Global PEP desk and local compliances and driving force behind global PEP projects
- Consolidate the Global PEP database for the region
- Coordination/consolidation of annual/semi-annual PEP reviews
- Conduct ad hoc request on PEP assessment from other regions
- Proactive involvement in global PEP initiatives/projects
- Handle PEP related audits
(IV) Regional Sanctions Compliance
- Support new RSCO in daily tasks
- Handling of payment hits and any sanctions escalations
- Support on Sanctions Risk Assessment
(VI) Ad-hoc Projects
- Identify and undertake projects to improve the process and application of AP Compliance’s policies and procedures, as and when required, utilizing technology where possible. For example Shared Relationships in PB or global AML Compliance projects
- Undertake specific due diligence assignments in conjunction with LCD/Regional Oversight/Reputation Risk as required.
- Remediation of any findings issued by Regulators or Auditors.

TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:
- At least 7 years of AML experience
- Excellent communication skills - both written and spoken
- Wide exposure to current affairs
