Telesales Executive – Business Development
£16,000 - £20,000 basic + bonuses (First year OTE Circa £25,000-£30,000)
Leeds city centre based – Commutable from Sheffield, Manchester, Wakefield, Bradford, Huddersfield York

Hays are proud to be partnered with TES Foundation, part of the TSL Group that owns TES (formerly known as The Times Educational Supplement). Based from Leeds city centre they are looking to recruit dynamic, tenacious and driven Telesales Executive to join their Outbound Telesales team on a permanent basis.

TES Foundation is an IT and Technology business providing a suite of software tools into Schools and Academy Trusts in the UK and abroad. Your job will be to contact educational institutions in order to promote and sell the software subscriptions.

Working within a target driven sales environment, you will be responsible for: -

§ Utilising the extensive internal database of previous and prospective clients on a national basis.
§ Building rapport and developing relationships with Schools (Heads, Business Managers, Finance Managers and Bursars etc).
§ Researching and resourcing business leads using your own initiative.
§ Making quality outbound B2B calls to discuss the software and its benefits.
§ Overcoming objections and creating a business opportunity.
§ Demonstrating the online tools through a web browser, utilising features and benefits and highlighting cost savings.
§ Working to meet sales targets and convert leads into new business deals.
§ Manage and maintain the accuracy of the customer database, Salesforce.

Working within this dedicated team your job will be to develop and grow the network of schools.

The successful applicant must possess the following essential skills: -

§ A proven background within an outbound B2B telesales role, ideally in the schools sector
§ Proven abilities of building and developing lasting business relationships to secure business.
§ Additional essential qualities are strong negotiation and influencing skills, abilities to meet and exceed sales targets and grow your own opportunity pipeline with strong marketing support from the company.
§ You will also actively demonstrate a hungry, resilient self-motivated and confident attitude along with the desire and ambition to be the highest performer within the team.

This role is offered on a permanent basis and is an excellent opportunity for a Telesales Executive, Business Development Executive, Account Executive or New Business Developer.

In return for your hard work and commitment along with proven sales results, you will receive a competitive basic salary of £16,000 - £20,000 per annum (depending on experience) and bonuses with OTE’s circa £25,000-£30,000 per annum for your first year. 25 holidays are provided along with a contributory pension (after a qualification period).
