REGIONAL TELESALES CO-ORDINATOR

Leeds, outskirts of city centre

£15,500 per annum + bonuses

Working for this national organisation within their Leeds hub, you will be working closely with the Sales Manager’s and Field Representatives you will be an integral part of the sales team.

Main responsibilities of the role:
• Dealing with incoming calls; advising business customers on products and matching or providing / sourcing alternatives
• Processing your own sales orders and supporting the Telesales Manager with other sales orders.
• Prepare quotations using the internal systems, sourcing alternative products if out of stock follow up as required.
• Liaise with external sales teams within nominated geographic areas.
• Establish / build business relationship with internal / external business customers.
• Liaise with customers on delivery re-scheduling and re-sourcing if and when required with out of stock items.
• Pro-active outbound warm sales calling as and when required to support the senior team.
• Maintain and monitor lead files.
• Responsible for sales administration associated within the role.

Additional aspects of the role:
• Work closely with the Telesales Management and contribute towards the operational plans that deliver the telesales strategy.
• Develop profitable sales growth through existing and prospect customers in accordance with the business development plan.
• Work to meet exceed sales and quality targets.
• To be responsible for sales within a geographical area, working with both CSM’s ASM’s, co-ordinating their orders, quotations and samples as well as your own.
• Using effective planning to initiate and accept customer orders by telephone, email web and fax in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
• Develop sound knowledge of customer’s needs, competitor activity and the company’s products / resources.
• Develop a strong product and supplier knowledge.
• Respond to customer complaints / enquiries in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
• Operate both manual and computerised ordering and client information systems.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a professional telephone manner, the ability to build and develop lasting relationships with clients and suppliers across all levels and be an effective negotiator. You will also be responsible for managing your own workload and working within a targeted environment. Additionally, you will have a proven background of working to meet your own individual sales targets whilst also supporting the external sales team. We are also looking for a key team player with a flexible, determined approach, self-motivated attitude and good work ethics to join and become a part of this successful team.
