AUDIT MANAGER
Attractive opportunity to join one of the region’s leading independent Firms of Chartered Accountants. This firm provide advice and support to individuals and businesses ranging from small family enterprises to large international corporations including specialist divisions such as media, education,contractors, golf clubs, FCA regulated businesses and charities.Based at the Watford office and will involve working directly with the Firm’s Principals. The duties will include supporting the Principals in the continued development of the Watford office, managing a portfolio of clients, part of the management team and to develop the client portfolio, control the financial aspects of a client portfolio, including budgeting, negotiation, billing and recovery, effectively deploy staff on assignments; involved in advisory assignments on an ad hoc basis, such as due diligence.The type of organisations the Firm carries out audit and accounts work: Focus on mid-corporates and Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs). Larger groups, and those with overseas subsidiaries. UK subsidiaries of overseas parents. Specialist audits include: Pension Schemes, Charities and Not for Profit Organisations, Solicitors, and FCA regulated entities.The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified equipped with significant external audit experience gained within a professional services environment, preferably at a Top 50 firm.You will need excellent communication and people management skills. Evidence of a history of managing staff and clients successfully.Attractive package will include: Death in Service scheme cover (4x salary).
