Back-end-leaning full-stack developer

Our backend is running on a monolithic (for now) Rails app, on top of AWS. And we're looking for backend-leaning full-stack developers.
Here's what you will be doing:
• Work on modularizing a Rails app
• Work on its scalability and build a sweet infrastructure for the whole backend to run on (AWS and Docker FTW)
• Regular ol' features
• Maintain and update our REST API consumed by the iOS client
• Participating in business development
• Drinking and going out with the team
Main requirements
Here's what we're looking for in tech skills:
• Solid knowledge of Ruby
• Ruby on Rails in production environments
• Knowledge of bash (zsh, csh) scripting
• Ability to architect scalable modern web apps
• Knowing your way around Amazon Web Services platform
• Solid understanding of HTML/CSS/javascript
• Understanding the importance of user experience
• Willingness to learn and continually improve
• Other skills are welcome! Our tech will evolve, so you never know
Nice to have
Please do not apply if you:
• Ever refused to do something because "it's not your job"

• Don't mind leaving work unfinished, as long as you arrive at 9 AM and leave at 5 PM
