Balance Sheet Management Accountant recruitment

A number of senior finance professionals have been appointed over the last 12 months, and in order to help better understand the cost and revenue drivers within their UK business, they are looking to appoint a qualified accountant with balance sheet substantiation experience.

You will work for the Management Accounting Manager and be responsible for the following:

Monthly expenses balance sheet substantiation and investigation of balances including reporting, control and preparation of all related documents, and resolving of balances sheet related issues, managing, analysing and reporting of FX balances, assisting with the management and reporting of the fixed asset and project accounting functions as required,the development and implementation of reporting and documentation, confirming journal postings and managing audit queries, communicating with business heads, providing relevant data to facilitate control and understanding of their budget, assisting with expenditure preparation, posting, analysis and reporting requirements, including monthly forecasting and annual budgeting requirements, providing cover within the team as required, assisting with adhoc projects

Candidates must be qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountants with previous experience working within Financial Services with significant balance sheet control and substantiation experience. A confident and articulate manner is essential, as this role will involve discussing cost related financial matters with a non-financial audience.
