Bank Anti-Money Laundering Oversight Officer

Position Description

The primary job responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with the GMLPO, CCOs, and Bank MLPOs in the overall management of the two bank's AML Compliance Program
• Advising the GMLPO, CCO and MLPOs of emerging AML issues and the implementation of commensurate controls to mitigate AML risks
• Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of a regulatory rules matrix
• Managing the preparation of the Bank's annual AML/Sanctions compliance risk assessment
• Drafting and implementing critical AML policies and procedures
• Oversight of all training related to existing and emerging AML issues, laws and regulations
• Oversight of AML compliance monitoring and testing as part of the monitoring and testing program
• Significant interaction with the business units on anti-money laundering and OFAC/economic sanctions compliance
• Oversight and supervision of ongoing monitoring of accounts, including transaction trends and investigations
• Oversight of SAR filings
• Oversight and participation in all internal, external and regulatory audits and examinations
• Assisting in the drafting and/or providing AML reporting to Bank Management, Board and regulators
• Participating in the Global AML Group's committees, calls and offsite
• Partner with Global AML Group colleagues worldwide to implement consistent standards, practices, enhancements, etc.
• Lead and/or oversee key projects and initiatives related to AML compliance for the banks

Skills Desired

• Bank regulatory and compliance experience is required. Experience working for a bank regulator is preferred. Experience with FFIEC standards and institutional/wholesale (derivatives, foreign exchange and corporate lending) businesses is mandatory.
