About the Job

Under the direct supervision of the EVP/Market President CEO, the Bank Center Manager is a critical role responsible for all sales to and servicing of client relationships in addition to the operational aspects of the bank center.   The Bank Center Manager facilitates both loan and deposit growth through business development and community involvement.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

·                     Manages and supervises the bank center to ensure achievement of sales goals within available resources; Provides leadership and direction in the development of short and long range plans; develops/implements/tracks sales tactics and cross selling

·                     Assigns goals, conducts sales meetings, plans and reports client development

·                     Actively participates in soliciting new loan and deposit relationships through calling efforts and referrals

·                     Ensures that bank center operations are conducted in the prescribed manner, observing and adhering to all established operational procedures and compliance regulations

·                     Plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments, and ensures the bank center is properly staffed at all times

·                     Provides leadership, review, and coaching for Relationship Bankers and calling plans

·                     Ensures product and software training for new and existing staff; reviews progress and directs changes as needed

·                     Acts as liaison between the bank center and other areas of bank

·                     Maintains RB Manuals; makes revisions and develops new procedures and policies as necessary

·                     Manages all complex customer service issues

·                     Performs any other related duties as required

 

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

Education and Experience:

·                     Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field, and/or

·                     Minimum five (5) years prior experience in bank (and sales) management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·                     Considerable knowledge of general bank environment, policies and procedures

·                     Demonstrated leadership qualities, supervision, and personnel management

·                     Knowledge of loan structure, commercial and consumer lending process and procedure

·                     Skill in negotiation, communication, goal setting and planning

·                     Skill in dealing with difficult customers

·                     Ability to lead and supervise employees

·                     Ability to handle confidential matters

·                     Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

·                     Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees, customers, the general public, and Board of Directors
